The Philippines, a southeast Asia archipelago of over 7,000 island is noted for outstanding natural beauty and cultural richness. nonetheless, it is constantly  threatened by a variety od natural calamities, including typhoons, Earthquake, Volacanic-eruptions, and climate change-related events.. In recent years, there has been a greater emphasis on developing resilience in order to secure the nation's future. this archipelagic country is hit by an  average of 21 tropical cyclones of various intensities per year.

    A very well known characteristics of us Filipino is very optimism, even if we have been gone through a lot of obstacles and traumatizing experiences that calamity gives to us we never forget to smile, since we always look at the brightest side despite of the situation that we Filipino encounters, with us wearing a smile is something that us Filipino are naturally to do despite in the time where us are having troubles and difficulty. 

    as some have said that us Filipino are perseverance also means flexibility since we Filipino are readly adjust to whatever scenarios and calamity we find ourselves in, after all, flexibility is one of the best attribute of resilience. we are accustomed to experiencing adversity in whatever form or condition, therefore is it easy for us to encounter it.
